Midweek mediocrity

Occasionally, I find this completely frustrating. I could see the shot I wanted but could I get it? Could I eckaslike.

I could neither focus my camera or my eyes at this time of the morning, so this version doesn't do it justice. What I wanted was a picture of the whole rosebush. Every single hip had a solitary rain drop hanging from it and they were all sparkling separately in the early morning sun. A proper photographer could have got it.
