so, being in Africa is teaching me a great deal of patience. it?s something that zambians seem to have in abundance! these kids were standing in the assembly hall for well over an hour. the first 30mins was just waiting around for the teachers to arrive and then another 30mins of various assembly bits and pieces.

i'm finding that if a teacher says that an assembly starts at 6.45am, it really means that you'll be starting at around 7.30am.
