Happy Birthday!

Today is my dad's 60th Birthday so I thought I would mark the occasion with a blip for him. This is one of my favourite photographs of all time, it was taken outside my dad's home (Tigh na Mara - House by the Sea) in Uig, Skye. My dad is the wee boy on the trike...and yes he is wearing woolen shorts. This photograph also begs the question who goes out to play in a kilt? Well, that was my dad's best friend and later best man. As you can see my dad is having problems with the basket on the front of his trike (not the one on the back which seems very secure), we think the problem is that he can't get it on straight ... some things never change!
