It's a bit of holly.
Obviously.

I don't have any flash equipment, so if there's a hint of light from the universal source, I like to see what's 'lit up'.
Apart from self.

After some nice but very 'thin' sunlight this morning, there was a burst of warmth and a ('James Brown-ish') ''spotlight on...'' moment.

This has spared me from blipping another (but this time red!) shield bug.
I'd have been particularly overjoyed if it had obligingly posed on the holly, but it was resolute. The contract said 'appear on dead heather only'.

So it's lone holly.
And a bit of cobweb (not unlike the corners in the house).
