Perfect end to the week

I'm so glad I ran back to the house to get the camera when i saw the hint of pink in the sky at the start of our evening dog walk!

And what a sunset it was!

Took far too many shots to count - the sun was sinking so incredibly fast it was amazing and I wanted to capture as many variations as I could - and this one was my favourite.

It's actually one of the very first ones I took, as we walked down the hill out of the village - and whilst it's got the pylon lines in it, I think they add some character to the shot (along with the very obliging bird!) and then the trees look like they're helping push the sun down.

So the flowers I got today will have to wait for their blip day tomorrow!
