Yucca Shoots

My partner a.k.a Streak-Life has an inheirited Yucca of great sentimental value, but it is getting just a little out of control. A while back it was pondered upon whether it would survive cutting back. So we decided to cut back one of the minor branches which would not be missed. Needless to say it seems to have survived, as there is a new shoot growing where the cut was made.

Once cut off something at the back of my mind told me that one could grow new yuccas from bits of the branches. A little internet research provided information on how to do this, and the above is one of the resulting new yuccas.

BTW, the black arrow is there in order that it was not put into the compost the wrong way up - i.e. upside down...
