Entering The World Of Soft Play

When I was a child soft play was playing with girls, not now though, now it is a technicolour foam world of highly priced fun.

Today we were still not feeling correct but decided to go out to Dick Whittinghams farm and get on with our holiday in the hope that some fresh air would help.

On the way the little ones both fell asleep so we decided to pop to the local town of Cinderford for a coffee instead of waiting in Dick Whittingtons car park. Unfortunatley I cant say we will be going back to Cinderford anytime soon as it seemed a little worn out. It clearly had some history and some nice old shops and buildings but was just a bit stuck somewhere in time.

Anyway the little ones woke and so we set off for Dick's farm. Twenty quid later we were in an almost empty spongy warehouse surrounded by a few animals who charged at us in the hope of food.

The Donkeys were particularly hungry and let out the loudest bray ever as we approached, this scared toddler so we had to go on straight away to the ducks who were similarly offensive.

In fact the more we walked around the place the eerier it became as we realised that we were now the only people there. We have never taken our toddler to a soft play place before as we generally find them a bit grim, though now we had the whole place to ourselves so toddler and I went on all of it.

We had a very unnutritious lunch for another load of pennies and a lot of fun.
