the 'sorry' flowers

I was given these beautiful flowers today...

Was it because he lost track of time last night and did not make it home early enough so I could go out?

Was it the bowl of porridge that he spilt over me in his rush earlier in the week?

Or maybe just because he loves me...

It doesn't matter why - they are lovely, as is he.
