uncertainty

I couldn't decide whether or not to post this photograph. It was taken in a tiny restaurant in a narrow 18th c building. Inside there were 2 or three tables and an odd assortment of white painted chairs set out on each of six or seven levels up two sets of winding stairs. The rooms had old fire places, chenile covered sofas and ancient silver backed mirrors spotted with age.

I should have taken several shots and then I would have had a chance of properly capturing the atmostphere. But we were lunching with old frineds and I nearly forgot to take any pictures at all.

Just as we left I grabbed this shot. As I said I was in two minds, it could have been so much better.
