'Round and 'round...

and 'round, and 'round, 30 hours wins $10,000. We went down to Seaport Village, on the Embarcadero near downtown San Diego last night. Seaport Village is celebrating it's 30th anniversary and the carousel, built in 1875, I might add, was spinning and spinning. The people in the orange shirts were the participants. They started with 30 men and women at 10am, on Friday and when we left there were only 21 remaining contestants at 1am. There were people all around, cheering and drinking beer and/or Monsters.

You could ride with them, and the would give them a vote, the votes help toward if they miss trivia questions along the way. In this photo, they are in a challenge, from 12-1am they had to ride on stop with their arms gripping the pole up high. They couldn't rest their head on the pole, or their arms, they couldn't close their eyes, they just had to ride.

It is just now 4, the competition has ended, I wonder who won????
