Daffodils and Bay

Bay flowers behind and daffodils in front, taken through a rain-spattered window.

After the rain yesterday this morning was warm and dry, and sunny for a while. I was so busy baking and then mowing lawns that it wasn't until I had to come in that I realised I didn't have a blip. This was a quick shot through the kitchen window. The image has been slightly darkened, but is otherwise as it came from the camera.

Right now it's snowing, but the temperature is slightly above zero so it probably won't settle. This is not unusual for October. See my one year ago shot.

The bay is Laurus Nobilis, the one used for bay leaves in cooking.
