Sanquhar Sunshine

A gorgeous day in so many ways. A breathtaking drive across the Borders in glorious sunshine, with all the Autumn colours coming out in full force. And then the afternoon spent with my favourite Auntie and Uncle - such a warm and loving welcome, and loads of catching up and family chat over a fab chicken roast lunch with all the trimmings. We left laden with just-dug potatoes and leeks, plus homemade sloe gin and damson whisky - like I said, gorgeous!!

The sunflowers were just fading in their beautiful garden, and they are leaving the seedheads to help fatten up the wee birds for the coming winter!
