Sunday afternoon walk in the park

A strange day ... nothing quite feels right or works out as planned. Perhaps 10.10.10 has some mystical effect?! It's Denise's birthday ... but I forgot ... and the weather is amazing ... but my foot is too painful to enjoy being outdoors and doing anything too active, but we don't want to spend the day sitting around eating (we've done that too much in the last few months and the pounds are starting to show now!). Don't want to waste this beautiful day though.

Try to go to Ikea but change our minds in the car park ... try to go to Habibis for dinner but they no longer open Sundays. Get some domestic things done ... but poor Jules gets bored and is frustrated because he want to get on with work etc. End up having some lovely food at Saxon Mill overlooking the river, then having a brief afternoon wander through the fields behind and then come home and drink bubbly ... Dominic arrives to spend the evening with us. Musketeers went well last night, he didn't mind that I wasn't there. Think I should have been though, but its too late now at least it went well.
