Fire Tower

I've been eyeing this tower from afar for awhile now and decided to find it today. Apparently the structure was built in 1951. The cab was replaced in '64, only to be destroyed by lightning '84. The current cab was installed in 1985.

Special day today, 10/10/10! Only two more of these awesome days left until the next centennial!
