Allways expect the unexpected when there's a snake around....

Went to visit S. in Hoogkerk, a small village near Groningen at the river Hoendiep. In English this little village would be named Highchurch on the Chickenriver :-).
It was a beautiful, sunny day and we joyned S. and her friends sitting outside in their front yard.
They keep a snake and I got to hold him (or her) for a few moments (the hands in the photograph are not mine though), after I was promissed that he would not bite. He was actually very cute!

PS: I do believe that this animal belongs in nature and not in a terrarium, eventhough I know he's wel treated and cared for.....
