Remember me

There is a beautiful old country church and graveyard called St Maelruan's, opposite where I work in Tallaght. This is a young, modern and dynamic suburb that has grown comfortably within its rich history. Sadly, over-development erased large parts of its identity, but this church is a refuge from modernity.

The older graves rest close to the old church, within a curtain of mature trees deflecting the outside world. The more recent graves lie at the back of the church in a more open space.

It is nice to come here during lunch some days, to stroll and listen to the silence.
