Late flowering

A bit of assistance finally materialised on the work front today, which was nice. D is away to Hampden to see Scotland v Spain this evening; I'll have to make do with the radio commentary due to a v early train tomorrow.

It's always a bonus when some plant that has been apparently doing nothing for months (years, sometimes) starts doing its thing. The flower spike on the orchid is doing well; about two inches long already. These pretty flowers are from a streptocarpus saxorum hanging over the kitchen sink - I repotted it ages ago and it seemed to have gone to sleep, but now it's covered with sprays of delicate flowers.
