Cal Poly Gold

One more shot using the extreme macro rig I described in my 9/23 Blip entry.

These letters are on the side of my university class ring from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. They measure about 3mm high which would make the magnification factor for this rig about 3X life-size.

Not bad for a reversed 50mm lens and a beer can holder...
