From above

Gasturbine of unit EC 4; almost finished.
The burners and it's piping are fitted.
Just some work at the new DLN 2.6 skid, this is a skid, completely filled with valves and piping to provide each burner with the right amount of gas, depending at the load. A new design, just to bring the emission of NOx down, which is good for the environment.

The unit is scheduled to have it's first firing on monday next week after the overhaul. A lot of testing and fine tuning has to be done; most of it will be done by GE technicians with assistance from our side.

What you see: from the bottom to the top of the picture is the compressorcasing, the burners and the power turbine.
The red lines are there for security: look here.

The big pipes on the compressor are for extraction of air, meant for (amongst others) cooling of the power turbine and to direct a part of the compressed air to the exhaust during start-up.

This is a view with old burners, as you can see: less piping...

I had to attend a meeting today, tonight a nightshift again...
