We still have roses

Middle of October and we still have plenty of colour in Port Sunlight. The roses are fading but the gardeners try to keep them going till the first frost. Difficult to take sharp pictures in the hazy sunshine this afternoon but I thought this soft look suited the feeling of nostalgia for the longer days of summer.
