Wagner's Farm Store - Corrales, NM

This time of year the scent of roasting chiles is in the air everywhere. Customers line up and watch the roaster as he turned their sack of green chiles over the open fire. The red chiles become ristras. Those are the long draping chains of red chiles that jhang from the roof of Wagner's store. The sweet fruity smell surrounded me while I snapped this picture.
