Five o'clock

Two films today: The American, and Eat, Pray, Love. The cinematography in The American was excellent, but the film was a load of old pants. Eat, Pray, Love was reasonably enjoyable, not least of all as I got to see Larissa's excellent impression of Julia Roberts' laugh.

There was a stillness to the air today, resulting in all the felucca boats just bobbing gently on the Nile, not going anywhere. There are some things you don't read about in the guide books, and a beer and sheesha at TGI Friday's on the Corniche during sunset is one of them.
