Blipping Buddies

NotNigella, my oldest friend and fellow blipper came to visit today with Wee C & Wee D.

Wee C's school has half term this week but The Bros didn't finish up until today for 2 weeks, if the different regions in Scotland could schedule the holidays at the same time it would make our social lives much easier to juggle.

We had some lunch, the kids played, then we collected Bros 1&2 from school and headed to Birnie Loch to feed the ducks and tire the kids out with a good walk in the fresh air.

Feeding the ducks was a success, stopping off a few times on the way round the loch to feed cygnets and ducks and then saving some bread for the group of ducks that stay near the car park.

NotNigella and I took quite a lot of shots of the kids, no surprise there! I got a few really good ones, Wee C trying numerous times to hold Bro 2's hand as they walked along, so so cute!! Bros 1, 2 & 3 running along the path through the trees with Wee C & Wee D, just lovely shots that captured their afternoon.

After the kids all had a snack by the loch side they went to feed the rest of the bread to the ducks. They were quickly joined by a couple of large and cheeky swans, Wee D & Bro3 did look slightly alarmed as they appeared in front of them demanding the last of the bread! The expressions on their faces made me choose this shot over all the others.

After the close encounters with the swans we headed back to the house where the kids made their own pizzas for tea, yum yum!
