Baby Orchid

We've had this plant for a few months now.
In fact, I've blipped it before.

It was a bit lacking in blooms, but I was delighted to find a few buds appearing a couple of weeks ago. And, while we were on holiday, one of them opened up.

I think orchids are great, they're so unusual in shape.
So I'm looking forward to the rest of them popping out soon.

I won't even attempt to tie this into the theme for the Weekend Blip Competition, as it's clearly and Emergency Flower Blip. :)
