The Crystal Caves...

.....today was to be a indoor day and one that we were only to be away for a half day...haha, famous last words!!

First stop The Crystal Caves, a fantastic place, here we are standing in front of "The Empress of Uraquay". According to the brochure, this is the largest Amethyst Geode, standing 3.5 metres high - amazing crystals. Kaylene cracked a Geode and now has her own small crystals.
We also had a great time cheese tasting and chocolate tasting, yumo; a visit to a coffee plantation which also grew banana's, papaya, long fruit - we did a coffee tour here, then finished off in their stunning restaurant overlooking their property for lunch.
We flagged the distillery - home for a rest.
