PEOPLE OF OSLO - IFFIT QURESHI

This lovely lady is a human right activist, writer and speaker - with a passion love for Oslo.

She started the Facebook group "Min vakre by Oslo - liten by -store kontraster" (My beautiful city Oslo - small city - big contrasts). Iffit writes that Oslo can not be compared to Paris, London or Stockholm. It lacks the grandeur of a major city, but yet again it has a soul of it´s own and a vibrance when you know where to go. It takes a perceptive eye to notice the small details and the beauty of this city which is home to 568,809 inhabitants.

Iffit is a compassion amateur photographer and organize photo walks to discover the soul of Oslo. On Facebook there are now thousands of photos from the city. Our town museum will arrange an exhibition in 2012.

Today I met Iffit and the photo group for the first time. Iffit radiates warmth and enthusiasm. I enjoyed my hours with this super friendly group and will definitely join them for more walks.

So thanks to all of you for including me, and for all the smiles and laugh we shared. I'm looking forward to see all the fab photos taken today.
