Apple Day!

When you are planning any event the one thing that is out of your control is the weather!

A lot of the activities we had planned for today's Apple day were outside so we needed good weather.
We were so lucky with today's weather it was just fantastic and we had a busy and very enjoyable day.

Lots of opportunities for a good photograph today but I just didn't get the chance I was too busy pressing apples!

A local wildlife rescue centre had a stall to raise money.This captive bred barn owl had been abandoned in a pretty bad state by its own but has now made a full recovery.

I didn't get a chance to have a go at the archery!! :-(
