foraging season

We took the kids up to the Alphabet Trail today in Serpentine Woods. Great fun although we can never find the D!

What we did find were these mushrooms attached to a bench. Being of so little knowledge I am:
A. assuming they are mushrooms
B. right to think as we don't know what the are then not to eat them
C. wishing I did know something as there were just so many different kinds of 'mushrooms' to see

Autumn is great - although looking at the other blips apples are the way to go today!
