061/365 - New Moon Rising

I know that this is my second moon shot in a row, but I figured out how to get a good shot of the detail in the moon and I thought I would share. The key is to not wait until it's dark. If you wait until dark, the moon comes out as a huge ball of light. If you catch it during the blue hour (that hour after the sun leaves the horizon) you can get the detail fairly easily. It just takes a "who cares" aperature of about 8 or 11 and then set your shutter speed to be slightly underexposed. Lots of fun.
