Bittersweet

"Besides the autumn poets sing,
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of the haze."

~Emily Dickinson

Same field I photographed last spring and last winter.

I've been waiting for the right time to photograph this clump of trees in this field. It's an oak, and the leaves have only begun to turn. If I wait until it has color, those maples at the edge of the field will have lost all of their color. Guess there isn't really a right time.

Never found a good time to capture this last summer. Maybe next year.
