Delight

She was standing, alone, isolated, against the wall of a church but she just lit up like a little child when some pigeons landed around her.

Not the best composed picture but I couldn't resist the look of delight on her face. It's the way I feel too when birds get close.

It's so easy to dismiss people that are dissimilar to us in ways that we consider unfortunate but for this moment I realized we were the same. I don't feel comfortable taking pictures of strangers but I don't think she noticed.

Later....I went to So You Think You Can Dance. From opera last night, to hip hop and contemporary dance tonight. It was fun! But what a contrast.

It's a crazy week!
