Poppy

I'd almost given up on my poppies. I planted them earlier this year, and thought maybe they wouldn't flower until next year. It was fab to open the curtains on Saturday morning to find this magnificent specimen. I didn't get around to photographing it until today, by which time it has been fairly well bashed by the rain. But I think that has probably improved it in a way. I'm not sure if my simulated lomography has improved it, but I quite like it.
