Open skies

Today was one if those glorious early winter days where the sun shines so beautifully that it widens the vista of any piece of open sky.

These vapour trails left by aircraft were above the Thames Estuary at Leigh on Sea and when I saw them they seemed to make the sky completely envelope the ground where I was. Hope you get something of the effect I'm talking about.
