Had a great idea, will go into town and John Lewis will be quiet because everyone will be getting ready for the football. Ha...shows how little I know. Town was full of shoppers and football fans. Pubs rammed, shops rammed...drunken neds wearing flags as capes and clutching their bottles of buckie...

And what a sad outcome.
