Christmas cake part 1

A wet and cold day - so we decided (well I did) start on the Christmas cake. I love rich fruit cakes, and cat eat them until I burst (not a pretty sight).
So here we are - the first part - mixing of the fruit and some liquids to allow it to soak until tomorrow.
