Sun Shine...

...on a polluted, dusty day.
A trip to Al Azhar park proved to be a splendid Cairo experience today. I couldn't help but noice the irony of such a splendid area, of natural beauty, being surrounded by the wrecks that are some of the more run down local housing.

A trip I will embark upon again. If only to witness the less than subtle attempts by the local men to eye up the 'white girl.' (The men in mind were, of course, arm in arm and probably working their way up to some 'special touch and tickle time.')

In Other News
Went to an amazing restaurant in Mohandeseen last night. A place called Charwoods. Despite Sarah's best attempts to thwart the evening, by booking everything but a table, it was a great experience. A) Saw a part of Cairo I've not been to. B) Ate the best bit of baby cow on the planet.
