Caught a bus from Hammersmith to Piccadilly Circus and walked through Lancaster Gate to Horse Guards Parade. Lancaster Gate was full of caravans and trailers - was the circus in town? Apparently not, they formed the enormous support train required to take a modern movie on location.

This caught my eye while traversing the parade ground. It is the old Admiralty Building to the north of the square. The agricultural vehicle in the foreground is apparently a prop for a photo-shoot and should be ignored as it is streng Verboten to photograph it. Or so was the demand made by an officious jobs-worth who instructed me not to take photographs. He claimed it was commercially confidential. It struck me that so public a place as Horse Guards Parade is not the best location to choose if you wish to keep your subject a closely guarded secret.
