Block Party

Today was the Annual Block Party for our neighborhood of about 130 houses. Everybody brought a dish be it salad, hot dish, or desert for the potluck. We all chipped in five bucks to cover fried chicken and disposable dinnerware. We see the early "Chow Hounds" all lined up at the buffet table.

This party is a good chance to renew acquaintances and re-connect with the "Snow Birds" that have been gone for the summer. One lady reported that is already snowing back home in Scandinavia.

Lots of great deserts. Yum!
