old bridge across the Ahanagavangh

Dull, grey and windy but Will''s arrived so not all bad!
This little bridge spans a small river, the Ahanagavangh (ford of the young cattle) and was once the main route onto the peninsula. The bridge is over 400 years old and I like its modest but picturesque spans. Just north of the bridge are the original stepping stones across the river and the view down to the estuary is picture book pretty but I'm saving that for a sunny day.
Not much else to report - a curry and viewing of Gran Torino follow.
