Lunch Outdoors

Beautiful weather today. I, and the man in the picture (though not together), enjoyed a lunch break in the Royal Fort Garden. (The sculpture is called 'Flight'. I quite like it, but I don't think they'll ever get it off the ground.)

The rest of my day was spent at an 'awayday', a regular feature of my working life. I remember when that term meant you actually went away somewhere, for the day. Now, because of budget and time constraints, these events are usually half a day, and they are not away. 'Awayday' is simply a euphemism for a really long meeting.
