Sometimes a plan doesn't work out
but what you do instead is so good that
you know that if the plan had worked out
it could never have been as good
as what happened.

I was going to say that this describes
my whole life in one sentence.

But it doesn't, because I can't remember
ever having any plan at all to begin with.
