Fabulous Feely Box

I finally got something I've wanted since I saw it at St Andrews' university museum - a FEELY BOX!! For the uninitiated this is a 'hidden' artefact box with a lid and holes that you poke your hand through to feel the item inside and guess what it is!

My box was made by local artist Matt Wickham who lives near Drumoak, Aberdeenshire. It's a real work of art in itself, and his wife Debby designed and sewed the clever little apertures which are featured on this close-up.

I'm so ecstatic about this box, it's just great! It reminds me of a magician's box! So, all I need now are artefacts to go in it!
