Look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves.....

I've never really believed it - I mean, here I am, looking after the pennies (does locking them up in a jar on the windowsill count as looking after them?), and spending the pounds.

This is my penny jar. It sometimes has silver in it, but not if I've needed emergency bus fare. Actually, it's penny jar no. 1. Now that it's full, I've started another one.
