Polychrome porch

Philadelphia's unique architectural heritage can involve an ambitious fusion of styles. The so-called 'Victorian' row houses in this part of the city date back to the late 19th century and some of them have been lovingly restored to their former glory with bright paint jobs and meticulously touched-up detail. This especially eye-catching porch in Larchwood Avenue has been additionally decorated for Halloween.
I cross and and recross the streets to capture one marvel after another.
