Aaah. Just a year ago he was just a wee tiny black-and-white grainy blob with a little fluttering pixel of an heartbeat (oddly more easily-seen on the eight week scan than at twelve weeks) but was still of sufficient size to make Nicky unable to properly clench her stomach muscles when morning sickness, overheated cabin-air and a bumpy landing got the better of her on the flight back from Brussels a year ago tomorrow. Today we took him for a carry around B&Q to look at the loft insulation on which there were some special offers ending today, though not on what we needed. Unfortunately it was eventually clear (after eventually finding the pack sizes' roll-lengths rather than trying to compare square metres' coverage at varying insulationiness) that the cheapest stuff was that which was made from recycled glass bottles rather than recycled plastic bottles, meaning that vision, respiration and manipulative ability shall all have to be impaired when clambering around the confined space of the eaves to install it. Hopefully the floored-bit will be big enough to store the bits currently not stored on the floored bit (being instead stored atop packets of laminate flooring perpindicular to the joists) whilst everything gets shuffled round.
