Structurally sound

This is the framework for our new Music Building at work. It's a major construction project, which has featured earlier in my blips, and which is completely fascinating (possibly to me alone) as it attaches to our stunning listed Aston Webb buildings, famous in Brum and beyond. These girders have gone up in the space of two or three days, and all day we hear the clanging and banging of steel attaching to steel. I just hope they are bolting these together nice and tight. It's quite amazing to see that all that holds a building up are these ... essentially ... and it's all just on the strength of the connections between them. Yikes.
