Nessie's on the Move

Nessie has blown free of her mooring, and although her parts (segments?) are still attached, she has moved to another part of the pond and is enjoying her freedom of movement immensely. She will be pulled out soon for winter maintenance and kept on the edge of the pond until next spring.

Here she is last May.

The dark skies are gone but the wind is still fierce. Our power has stayed on so far but dozens of stoplights have gone out, which makes driving in the city somewhat cumbersome :)
