Gecko

Mr. Gecko is enjoying the sunshine as he basks on our cement block wall.

He was backlighted by the sun which was above at 2pm. Lightroom 3's adjustment brush enabled brightening of our main subject and the graduated filter helped enhance both the wall and the background.

Blipping is addictive. By 2 pm, I started getting nervous about not having taken any pictures. So I thought that I'd put on my bird lens (70-200 f4L IS) and catch a hummingbird in our back yard. Then Mr Gecko appeared and I squeezed off 17 shots of him then breathed a sigh of relief now that I had satisfied the urges from the Photographic Gods.
