Shedding Against the Sky

"Trees are poems that earth writes upon the sky
We fell them down and turn them into paper
That we may record our emptiness"

- Kahlil Gibran

I snapped this shedding eucalyptus as I was leaving work. I really quite like the nearness and complexity of the shedding trunk and bough, against the clear sky in the distance.
