Today, the greengrocer.....

.....sold me some bananas. And told me that she's been selling fruit and veg in South London for over 50 years. Bless her! Standing in the freezing cold, day in, day out, reading her newspaper during quiet moments.

She posed for a portrait, but the light was coming from behind, so I took this one later when she wasn't looking.

The bananas are actually for Sam, but he hasn't eaten any today as he's a bit poorly, fingers crossed he'll feel better soon.
